Dean G. Heath, age 43, of Chicago, passed away January 3, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Kelly, cherished brother of Kimberly (Erik) Unger, Sonny Heath, Crystal Hayes and Jason Hayes, loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, a godfather and adored son of Patricia (Glen) Hayes. Dean served honorably as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1990-94, earning several medals and an Expert Rifle Badge. He was stationed in Fort Sill, OK, Okinawa, Japan and Camp Lejeune, NC. His love for travel continued with exotic vacations over the years to Morocco, Thailand, India, and Vietnam with his wife. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining, and with a comical insight into all things, he always made those around him laugh. He had a loving, generous heart, and standing at 6’4” was often referred to as a “gentle giant.” He was well loved and respected by all who crossed his path. His professional career culminated as a Network Operations Analyst at Arthur J. Gallagher in Itasca, IL.
We will miss him always, but know that his spirit will live on with us forever. A celebration of Dean’s life will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Memorial visitation at 11 a.m. until Memorial Service at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow at Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL, 60657.
